Why would you abdicate if you had a matter of months left? You wouldn't. You'd stick it out and serve to the end, because that's who she is. It's her role, her duty, her life.

I suppose the risk is if she is incapacitated, cant communicate etc. i'll bump this thread when the inevitable happens, it will be an awful day for us
