As mentioned above, at one point not long ago I think the prevailing attitude was you should never take a photo with your phone that you didn't want the world to see. I don't have a problem with other people doing whatever they want, but I guess I'm still in that old thinking - maybe it's more an American thing.

I agree I find Americans in general less open to play and humour in that sense than other countries but then they can also be more extreme
