I noticed that he seemed to be looping around one area. There are areas like this in Fort Worth and Dallas also. Probably true for any big US city, though some are definitely worse than others.

Left or right or neither though I'm not sure how you can see so much of this and be on board with some to the ways our government burns money. Our management team sucks.

I don't care if you are all mega capitalist/greed is good/taxation is theft...whatever. If you have any good sense at all you want safe prosperous cities and towns.

Yeah, Philly definitely has its problems, but it has plenty of really nice areas, too. Kensington is one of the biggest heroin markets in the country. North Philly is a drug gang war zone. There's nothing surprising about any of that. OTOH, Center City is really nice, Old City is one of the most historic areas of the country, Northern Liberties & Fishtown are really nice millenial and gen Z yuppie residential areas, and University City is home to both an Ivy League school and a top STEM/engineering university. Every city has it's good and bad areas.
