Was neat.jpeg.
I've worked with a ton of cranes landing blind and a few helicopters, some placing generators or 500kV power lines.
The fact that we can do things like this with precision still blows my mind daily.

Imagine being hooked to a few thousand pounds of wire, and you are pulling it through pulleys on massive poles....not a vertical lift, pulling it sideways...

1. What the fuk is a chimney cap?
2. Why was it 9 miles out? Could they not have delivered it closer/on-site and just use a crane?

2. These jobsites are seasonal cottages accessible only by boat. Getting a crane out there would have literally been impossible
3. I manage a company building high end cottages on boat access only properties. The nearest road is 9 miles away from the site

I was a carpenter before this, and started with the company about 12 years ago. After 3 years they asked me to manage it.
And that particular cottage is ultramodern, so ya I can see why it would look industrial

Cool video OP. That was a long air ride for just one piece. And for $4600! Must be nice to have that kind of money. How much did the cap cost?
Also, from a carpenter's perspective, do companies typically overcharge the people that buy these high end places or are they really that expensive to build in General? (excluding random helicopter lifts)

Cool vid.
Should invest a bit of money in a camera to make the visuals decent. Could get a decent amount of viewers with a few ideas, if you're actually looking to grow your channel.
Think of how many cottagers there are in Ontario alone, and how many DIY'ers there are out there that look up tips and cool videos, etc.

lol at architects.
We charge the same whether its one of the richest canadian families we work for, or some random.
Our prices are such that we are having fewer low budget clients though. Inflation is a bitch.

Does that make sense?
