The last thing I got vaccinated for was Meningitis back in college. Had adverse reaction. Will never get another vax (srs)

I've experimented with dat dere celltech over the years and I find I'm fairly sensitive to everything. It really took me a couple of years of research and self testing before I figured out how to minimize side effects and balance hormones, still get the desired effects, etc.

Morning update boyos. I feel about 50% better. Wicked body aches largely muted but I still feel like a truck ran over me. Very low energy (I know I know, typical lib....

Need to do some work later today (obviously computer work, I ain't so good with my hands) so hopefully I improve cause I needs my brainpower. At least there's tons of golf and hoops on to watch today.

And for those curious about why I'd get this vaccine and my other health issues. Long story short, colon cancer in my early 20's, had surgery where they cut out a piece of my colon, was super lucky the tumor grew into the colon and not outside the colon wall which often makes it deadly. Had chemo and radiation never lost my hair.

So I've had annual colonoscopies since then (about 40 in total, couple years of 2x per year) and as I hit my 50's aggressive polyps started showing up. My last one had a number of polyps that were positive for cancer. Decision was made (due to my trash genes as deputy dawg likes to point out, he's not wrong about that) to remove the rest of my colon. They ripped out my guts and hooked my small intestine to my butt. Had an ileostomy bag for 7 months (deputy dawg is correct again in referring to me as a chit bag), had another surgery to get that reversed about 9 months ago so here I sit with my body still getting used to its new plumbing but improving every month. The amount of tubes I've had shoved into various parts of my body is almost the stuff of nightmares, but you'd be surprised what you can endure if you need to and have a positive attitude.

Apologies for the wall of text boyos but a few folks had asked. Don't take your health for granted, don't ignore any warning signs, and most importantly (it's cliché' I know) but try to live each day like it's your last. You want to have as few regrets as possible when your time finally comes.

edit: oh and since this is kind of a fitness place, I started lifting again not quite 3 months ago after a year off. While I've never been strong my Misc standards, I'm back to reppping 225 3x for both bench and squat. Kind of poverty I know but it's good to hear those two plates rattling again.
