It's an aesthetic competition as opposed to a strength one

I have always lifted for strength and muscular endurance, was never inclined to bodybuilding competitions, but I have some bodybuilding friends that I lifted with for a long time

Having worked in showbusinesses as a musician, bodybuilding really does seem like showbusiness, stuff like the NFL is also showbusiness, and this dude is def being a showman to promote the show

You see the kind of antics that goes on in wrestling promos and it makes sense to me, even though I am a strength lifter

Yeah i guess so. His antics did help him gain lots of exposure and followers from the fitness industry.
