Needs a better fade - this looks too much like a 90's undercut which is what gives the broccoli look.
Get rid of face pubes until you're older and beard fills in.

You brushing it down when wet or putting product in it doesn’t mean you just happen to have straight hair sometime. It prob starts coming loose like on the right side of the pic and curling out anyway.

I’d say go natural bro. Make it less messy looking than in that pic though.
Depends how you define it most people with natural straight or curly hair can't change there texture without getting a perm or chemically straightening it.

But yeah I'd say curls look more natural on me.
