You missed out on the entire analog era as well as the internet revolution era because you weren't born or were too young to enjoy it, so all you got was the modern social media and digital services era.

It's like no wonder they're a bunch of awkward weirdos, they grew up with a bunch of garbage cultural influences after everything cool and fun went away.
Even the ones born in the mid 90's have no idea how things were in the late 90's and early 2000's when humanity was at it's peak

Yup, basically every single zoomer has no clue what life was like before 9/11, and the modern web 2.0 social media influencer era internet is the only culture they have ever really had. There was no MTV, no big cultural trends surrounding great music movements or anything like that, it was just whatever the phuck was on youtube or tiktok because their parents just always put a smartphone in front of them their entire childhood. That's another thing, kids these days pretty much grow up with mobile phones so they never really spend any years just being kids running around doing whatever, their parents are always keeping tabs on them and keeping them in check on their mobile phones. It leads to kids who lived very sheltered, highly regimented lives with no real cultural values.

Yeah i didn't have a phone or social media apps until i was 23 srs

I started miscing around age 20 but that was old v bulletin forum chit

Just a totally different era back then where we went out and did chit all day but also nobody gave a fuk about social media because there was an awesome culture and giant sub cultures

Also entertainment was at it's peak you'll never see gaming, sports, wrestling, music like it was back then srs

9/11 truly was the downfall the mid 2000's weren't bad either but by then chit was already getting a little weird

Yeah the 00's is sort of a split era, the first half was kind of an extension of the 90's and kinda cool, sort of the last hurrah of the analog era, then the late 00's is when everything went all digital revolution on us. By the 10's web 2.0 and social media culture was in full swing, pretty much dominating mainstream culture at large.

Looking back at my childhood, those years back in the 90's and 00's when nobody had a mobile phone and we just called our parents houses, planning chit out, and running around all day doing whatever without our parents knowledge, it was a type of freedom that kids today simply don't have. All your problems with kids were also left at school, our social media was chit like AIM and anonymous message forums like this, and that didn't really come about until the 00's.

I feel like kids are already prone to conformity in an effort to "fit in" and social media has brought about a ton of pressure from mainstream media involvement.
