My assumptions based on your first post only.
She is not a virgin so the reason she is holding out on you is that she want to use it to pressure you into getting her will.
I wouldn't be surprised if she strings you further on and suddenly don't want to have sex before marriage (to ensure it happens), then after a while won't have sex with you unless it's for procreation (pressuring you into having children).
If your HTC and she is fine with waiting 6 months that might also mean that she has a lower sex drive than you, meaning you wont get enough action even after you propose.
