yeah this. Apple (and all the other cloud storage companies, google ect) scan all your files you upload for copyright infringement or paedo chit.


So ok they have some AI software run through all your pics and flag "potential" child pron, then what happens, some employee is looking at your photos of your kids to verify, you could do literally nothing wrong and now they are looking at your pictures, someone you never met and you are never told about it at all.

Plus how is it even a deterrent, now that its announced then basically anyone doing those illegal activities isnt going to use cloud storage to store evidence of their crimes.
