Been through there a few times, beautiful place. I would have thought water would be the concern but it sounds like you’ve got that covered.

I’ve seen around the Tetons where they have like dude ranches, not really sure what that entails but maybe an option for people that want to pretend to be cowboys for a weekend?

Construction, trucking, gravel mining, grocery store, convenience store, and an 800 head cattle ranch (which will expand to 1100 head due to latest acquisition). Going to bed now so I'll just add what I can quickly.

Regarding stocking fish you need to decide if your goal is to grow them to trophy size or just high numbers for people to take out and eat while they camp out or something. Numbers would be much easier from a management perspective but you won't get anglers interested in catching big fish if that's what you were thinking. Even then you run the risk of over population and stunted growth.

There's videos on YouTube about managing stocked fish in ponds.

Two YouTube channels for you to check out:

Whitetail Habitat Solutions - this channel has hunting tips and land management tips for hunters and property owners.

Bushradical - this is a homesteader. The guy has some great stuff about building and living remotely. I'm sure you could adapt some of his solutions for extreme off-grid living to what you're doing.



Also, repped - mirin'. I woud love to have a remote property. It's most likely going to have to wait till retirement and that'll be my legacy for my kids and grandkids.

Saw this OP and thought of your thread-



Why? Because I really dig the curved roof line and the big window with an expansive view. Doesn't look like the same ol' same ol'.

Since you are planning to develop the property to accommodate groups anyway I was thinking that it might make sense to at least consult with a set designer and/or someone who scouts sites for film.

With the multiple streaming platforms I think it might be worth planning your site and buildings so that you could accommodate film crews.

You have an unusual landscape and based on the sorts of structures and landscape installations you scatter around it could be a draw for different sorts of film projects.

And being on the reservation could appeal to studios wanting to score "good guy points" for diversity and such.

Sucks for those of us that like to hunt and camp on our own (I'm in that group), but if I was in OP's shoes I don't think I would let anyone hunt unguided. The money is in full service guided hunts where they stay in the lodge eat the food you prepare and hunt with your guides and OP makes money at every step. From a money making standpoint the ideal would be to fill all the hunting slots with guys paying for full service.

Pretty cool OP. Turkey is another option, if someone else hasn't mentioned it.
