There was a miscer that bought two lots just so he had two football field size lawns to cut on his property. I was mirin' the aesthetics until i figured out how much work went into it.
Mowing isn't so bad, but if your property has a bit of scrub area Goodnight sweet prince. Weed whacking, hedge clipping and weeding
... that will make you question your life choices.

Lol, yes. I used to love doing this chit as a kid, but at this point it has been like 10 years since I mowed any grass. Definitely an activity for people who are bored out of their minds.

Yard work blows, the worst part of owning a home for sure. The whole process to me is retarded. Waste a bunch of water so I can keep my lawn green and maintain it 7-8 months a year.

Live in a condo and don't have to do any of that but I kind of miss it and having a yard.
Yard work and gardening is something I enjoy. Pretty cool to see the results of what you grow. Trees, vegetables etc.

First job was landscaping, did that for a long time. I hate doing yardwork, but I also refuse to pay someone to do something that I can finish in 45 minutes.

I book Friday from 10-11:30 AM on my work calendar as a recurring meeting so I can manicure my lawn. The seething looks of my neighbors when they pull into their driveway Friday evening and see my perfectly cut grass then have to stare at their overgrown dandelion and red dirt "lawns" knowing they have to spend the best part of Saturday pushing a lawn mower is one of the most rewarding things of the week.
I always make sure to wave really noticeably when they pull in so they have to look at my beautiful lawn and give me a wave back with a big fake smile.

Could just pay someone to do it, but that seems lazy as mowing and any other trimming probably doesn’t take more than 90 minutes of time a week. Mowing isn't so bad, but if your property has a bit of scrub area Goodnight sweet prince. Weed whacking, hedge clipping and weeding
... that will make you question your life choices.
