My neighbor had a half sized rink he flooded every winter. That wasn’t uncommon, some people even buy home zambonis.
There isn’t anywhere like MN hockey. Every boy that isn’t legit shoe-string poor has a stick and skates. I was a fukking swimmer and I spent about as much time on the ice as I did in the pool.
