It's definitely a root cause of the schism in gender relations at the moment. Nobody really wants to pair up any more. Everyone is apathetic and yet desperate enough for attention that men will pay women to pretend to be their girlfriends (because they don't know any better) and women hook up and become prostitutes to get some semblance of human connection. Remember that women become attached to their partners post-sex at a higher rate than men do

Haven't looked at porn for the better part of a decade but assuming this part hasn't changed. Why is it that bar none, in every luxury home that rents itself to a porn video, that the pictures on the wall are always demonic. I think that's very telling.

Well not to pimp the thread, but there’s now a sobriety/recovery thread stickied. It’s for anyone in recovery from whatever. That includes porn and/or fapping. Would love to have you join to share your struggles and successes!

In that area, single mothers and a divorce rate hovering around 60% is the real problem. Porn & trannies got nothing to do with it.

One thing about too much indulgence in porn is the lack of dopamine for everything else.

Think about your life before you started watching porn; doesn't matter if you were 11 or 22 you were infinitely happier and also more productive

If you can't masturbate with just your mind towomen you know in real lifeit's OVER FOR YOU

OP is 100% spot-on couldn't have said it better; repping entire thread srs

porn is a drug, it is terrible for you. Unfortunately is has warped my brain, and all i watch is gangbang porn and mfm (90% of the time amateurs because it's just kinkier or something), srs. for like the last 12 years it's what I have watched.

I gotta stop boyos.

I also tend to get bored with the same sloot, newness and novelty get me off. I want my brain to heal and to be able to have consistent sexors with the same girl over a long period of time.

Absolutely miserable; can never find gratification and relationships with others seem meaningless, receptors are fried so he never finds joy

You didn't have this problem as a teen despite being endlessly horny, you went home & thought about babynames.com with that girl who kissed you

Now you get bored with her infatuation for you? PATHETIC & BETA boyo

12 years later my gal still blushes & gives starry eyes when we flirt; that ignites a fire under my balls every time

JFL @ anyone thinking some sperm-guzzling whore in porn can compete with that, subhuman smelly trash & that's why they self-delete eventually

I am happy for you.

Yes, it is unfortunate. I hope after a long time of abstaining I can heal. I have even participated in degen extra slooty sexual behaviors after me and my last srs girlfriend broke up.

Have you read the book Dopamine Nation or listened to podcasts with Anne Lemke? She is the Chief of the Stanford Addiciton Medicine Dual Diagnosis Clinic. Has also wrote a book about the Opioid Crisis.

I guess so. If you can refrain from doing it if you really wanted to, then I guess you're not addicted.
