Do you do that type of day frequently? Or like 2-3 per week and lots of rest?
I do judo and karate 2-3 times a week, will walk 2 miles a day at least...and I'm trying to get back into running. But I'll only run 1.5 miles to about 4. It is kind of a lot and sometimes I just skip things and do Squats and trap one day and Bench the next.

How's strength progression doing all that? Squat, TBDL, pressing...they going up for ya?

Instead of going up each session and deloading in a wave, I just do the very same weight for 2-3 weeks and go up a 2.5 lbs-5 lbs.
Chin ups are getting better. I went from negatives to sets of 3. Not much, but once up to 5 I'll try to use a dip belt.
I don't really care too much about cable row weights. Just do a lot of them until I'm tired

Bumping this thread. Mon planned workout. It is national bench monday, even in my home gym
These days I just fuk around. Today is chest, tris. Old school. Still fasting. Will eat in about an hour. 10oz protein, higher carbs. Coming off 2 days of 22 hour+ single meal fasts Sat and Sun.
Carbs from pack of ramen, and some yogurt with a few granola bars should do it for me. Maybe a few cholate chip cookies as well. Eating at home makes for some interesting meals
Workout is at 6.

That's some crazy OMAD fasting! Does it seem to negatively impact your energy during workouts?
Today I also have Chest (and Legs).
Squat, weighted Dips, GHR, Low-Incline DB press, Bulgarian Split Squats
Just bounce from legs to chest a couple times, a good combination of heavy and light work, and boom. Done for the day. Heading out in about an hour.

Coming to IF, I make sure I eat a good amount of protein, but I dont fixate on anything in particular. Just watch overall cals (by eye)
I decided I wanted to be in better shape this year and wanted to use the tools I leaned from dieting to do it. I have not done cardio in 4 years (not a great thing) but I control composition with intake only. I need to bring in a little cardio for general health though.
So to pull cals more, I sarted 3 days / week a 20-22 hour fast on non-workout days. So W, Sat, Sun. I just dont eat till 7pm range and it is one big meal. I will supplement some additional protein before bed w/ leucine and fiber.
Working thus far.
NOTE: Fasting is NOT something I would recommend for anyone who thinks they have progress to be made. I am almost 50 and have 25 years of training under my belt. There is no more progress for me. Just staying in shape.
IF you have progress to be made, the fastest and BEST way to achieve that is to eat a caloric surplus PERIOD. Fuk all these recomp people. They dont know what they are talking about. I spent YEARS of my life eating up 30-40lbs and then losing most of it and starting over. YOU HAVE TO EAT to grow. (beyond your 2nd or 3 year of training.
90% of people fail because they dont eat for their goals. HARDEST part of training by far is eating a structured surplus EVERY day. As you progress, your surplus has to drop to about 250-300 or fat comes on too fast. This takes a lot of work to try to track this close. BUT it is the only way that I know of besides of relying on AAS for favorable nutrient partitioning. I trained most of my life naturally, and if you want gains beyond year 2-3 most of your focus should be on diet.

Post-workout update for 5/16:
Chest/Legs completed today. Overall an okay workout. Had a *lot* of trouble with my MMC for chest today - nothing I did made contractions feel right. I hit the weights/reps I wanted to hit, but chest just didn't seem to be doing the work I wanted it to do.
This is one reason why I don't enjoy training chest, because after years and years of training, trying every trick there is, I just can't seem to consistently get a good chest pump/workout every workout. Oh well. The leg portion makes up for it lol.
Squats, GHR, bulgarian split squats all went great. Quads particularly felt pumped as fukk at the end, in addition to hitting every weight and rep I wanted to hit.

Monday lifting;
Reverse bench.
5 sets. 8-20 reps 135-275
Dumbbell flys supersetted with dumbell tricep extensions. 40lbs 4 sets
Cable crosses supersetted w/ close grip bench.
Getting skinnier.
Thinking of bumping cutting back cals from one of my 4 lifting days besides the 3 days of 20-22 hour fasts. Been stalled just a touch on fat loss and might try to kick start with some more cal cutting

I'm wanting to cut, so I'm going to the gym 7 days/week, doing something even if it's only like 20-30 mins of cardio. Luckily my gym is walking distance so it's not bad. Today did cardio + a couple rounds of core work. Yesterday did a fukton of hack squats (with barbell) and arms, tomorrow doing a push day.
Got your diet on point too I hope! Hard work brah.
Been really hard to keep my deadlift up. Everytime I hit a stride the stress from school kicks in and I miss a week
Also losing weight but gonna maintain dat dere power to weight ratio. Tonight...we deadlift.
Deadlift is fukking tough when cutting. I dunno if it's a CNS thing or just a mental thing.

So what's everybody hitting today?
I've got Back+Shoulders again, always a good day. Hoping the gym isn't as full as it was on Monday.

Next time you'll safely hit 204 for sure. Nothing wrong with going a little lighter when something isn't feeling right. Protecting your shoulder is more important than pushing a weight too soon.
