Most overlooked aspect of wealth - is time.
Get a smaller more moderate amount of fiscal resources and start early. Ideally late 40's early 50s and use time wisely.

I live very modestly though - make everything myself, good food and produce and like low-cost hobbies e.g. beach/surfing/fishing
A few more years and I will be ready to semi-retire. I will not be 100% retiring though - just going to drop down to 2 days a week. 2 on - 5 off work life balance. That 2 days a week pays the bills and leaves your investments alone to increase.


Ive seen too many 'young' retirees in 50's and 60's keep working and die before they've even got withing 10 years of legal retirement.
Their kids and grand kids appreciate all their hard earned nest eggs though......
Time is underrated so rank it higher when counting all your assets.
