Always like the hot takes on London where apparently 90% of it is Tower Hamlets-tier with a couple of tourist traps sprinkled around. And then somebody always chimes in with some cities known for their football clubs and nothing else.

London was such a dump when I went.

Nothing but fried chicken shops, Indians and depressed af looking white people. Disgusting city.
Survival. When the jungle tears itself down and builds itself into something new. Guys like you and me, we end up dead. Doesn’t really mean anything. Or, if we happen to live through it, well that doesn’t mean anything either.

Lol Americans going to London is like Brits going to New York.

Both chit, crowded, crime-ridden cities. So much better places to go in the UK than London.

I didn't see any of this when I went few weeks ago. Actually was pleasantly surprised. But I did stay in the main area near Kings Cross.

Fish and chips are phenomenal there. It's like when a steak is so good you don't need BBQ sauce - same thing with the fish and chips, no need for ketchup.

It's the cesspit of the UK.

I've been to look at Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, etc but it's not somewhere I would go regularly nor choose to live.

I've visited London on numerous occasions and actually lived there for a year through work. I think it is a bit overrated but honestly it still is the GOAT city. Compare London to NYC, especially in 2022 it's just laughable. Never once felt unsafe there, no neighborhoods you can't visit, no violent homeless people on the subway/tube.

Having said that London proper is really small, some of the other districts that are technically part of London would be suburban towns stateside. I remember travelling 40-45 minutes on a commuter train and was still technically in London lol.

this is what idiots do not realise , you have to think of Greater London , not just the square mile of the city.

more to do here than anywhere in the world if you have a half a brain
