I also don't get where this though of 'erosion of masculinity' comes from to be honest. There are more twinks in the public eye for sure, but that doesn't mean that they are new. They just used to fly more under the radar. Now Netflix gives them shows that more often than not bomb. Why do they bomb? If anything we see more daily proof that it isn't the norm, it's just tolerated because almost nobody cares. I live in a pretty liberal big city. Are there more alternative people here? Yeah for sure. Is the average female actively concerned about toxic masculinity? Hell no.
