Well dont shoot on sight lol regardless of self defence or not. Just be smart about it. Most of the self defence cases here where someone has killed an intruder with a handgun have had their names cleared.

You just have to actually be defending yourself. If someone is stealing a bike from your shed and riding off, you cant shoot them… if someone broke into your house with a skimask on and a weapon and proceeded to make his way to your family bedroom, then yes you can shoot them.

Its all taken case by case in canada.

If someones inside my house I will shoot on sight.

If they're on my property stealing something that's obviously a different story. But inside my house its game on.

Yeah you can do that here. Chances are you wont face any time for that either.

Youll he charged 100% of the time unfortunately, but if someone really is inside your house with a weapon, doesnt have to be a gun, after breaking/entering then thats enough for reasonable cause.

Well, the intruder could be armed as well. What else would one use to defend themselves? A rolling pin? Scented candles? A Reebok shoe?

And once you are inside my house, then you pose a direct threat to mine and my family's security and I will fight back with everything I have to protect them.

Thats why you shoot to kill, and then place a big kitchen knife with their finger prints on it close to the body before you call the cops. It will be your word against theirs lol.

Yeah because at no point in history do we have any examples of people using 5-round-capacity hunting rifles to kill a lot of people like Vasily Zaytsev or Simo Hayha

With liblogic(tm) if those guys had an AR-15 they would have respectively destroyed the entire Russian and German army by themselves
Would kick em in the nuts

its not that, its the fact that it takes about 6 months to get the actual license. After you take the course and file forms, its a minimum 3 month wait period before they even look at the file. Mine took 5+ months (took the course in like January and didnt receive it till like late June that year). Its their anti crime anti suicide function so someone doesnt get a gun in the heat of the moment or during crisis

Also buying any restricted firearms now will lead to monetary loss. These firearms are all tracked and will be required to be handed or have an armorer to weld the action to no longer function if you want to keep them as a decommissioned souvenir if a full-on ban goes through. Like most gun owners are 21-50 year old men with lives and families to lose and wont choose prison over their firearm.

It's illegal to use them for personal or home protection. They need to be locked up at all times except on the way to or from a shooting range.

I'm pretty sure if someone breaks into your house and you shoot them you'll be charged.
i remember the one story in my course they showed us from alberta i think, a guy came to buddies house (i think he was a fired employee or something) and threw a molitov at the dudes house or something (i thought it was arsen). Buddy came outside and shot a warning shot with his pistol then called the police. He spent years in courts fighting charges having to prove his handgun was stored safely and ammo stored separately because he responded too fast. lmao. Entire thing was on camera too as he had security cams at his house capturing the dude on his property

End game is to disarm all civilians.

This trucuck homo travels with armed security with hand guns like flying around on his private jet preaching that fossil fuels are bad. No priminister in history travels as much as him on his private fossile fueld jet and armed security. Lead by example cuck.
