Friend has a pet rabbit and is crazy about it, built it this huge outdoor space and cage, it's kinda ridicules, takes up a 1/3 of his backyard. Honestly think if his kids and wife needed to be rescued, he'd grab his rabbit first.

i read about them a while back when i saw some at the shelter, apparently you want more than one due to their socialness (i guess they get depressed and cause trouble solo) and they're apparently quite fragile
Great MAGA King status

My sister had one when we were growing up, I was always impressed by its intelligence srs.
I used to sit in the middle of the room and he would hop circles around me for ages. My dad played a game where he would throw a pillow at him and he would dodge it. He even learned to anticipate the throw and would go crazy with excitement.
Never seen a rabbit do stuff like that since. Had to be terminated due to a broken leg eventually because a fox tried to get him outside (had an outdoor pen)

Had a few over the years.

High maintenance. Some are healthy, but Lops and other breeds are so inbred that they have tons of issues. They literally breed them to have all the weak recessive genes for the looks. Just get a normal rabbit (looks like a wild one).

Cute and fun. A good one is like having a cat, but the wrong ones will be like this old cartoon:
