Just lmao @ the resident child rapists taking a moment to come in and deflect from this madness as a way to justify it. Oh well I guess them attempting to justify a 7 million dollar hair pick provides at least a few minutes where they aren’t violating the innocence of children, sick fuks.

From the mayor:
I seriously don't get triggered by stupid **** like the statues, but that is some actual racist **** from that local government.
In addition, we have already purchased over 60 pieces of artwork created by local Black artists to be displayed in our public buildings
So we have local governments buying art with taxpayer's money based solely on the color of the artist? That pretty racist.I seriously don't get triggered by stupid **** like the statues, but that is some actual racist **** from that local government.

My wife showed this to me and I lost my collective shyt. I just don’t even know what to even think about this. I can also see that I wasn’t the only one who thought of “combing the desert”.

The left is openly mocking the black community, but none of them can see they're still be played and used by the group - its rather sad to see happening in real time.
Could have chosen so many important blacks of history to represent this day (Harriet Tubman), but they chose a stereotypical item, a hair pick.

They should just do a Michael Jackson statue. He is the most famous African American of all time, and it's not even close.

Alright, but now show the white liberal arts students who designed it.
Just like many things we see today being promoted as positive, the originaldidhave racist overtones, but as society progressed, the marketing face went from a stereotypical black representation to a wholesome one. All they had to do was basically confirm to everyone who therealperson was behind the face and separate it from the caricature of the past just to be sure the ignorant outrage culture wouldn't project their own prejudices on innocent branding.
Who the hell gets outraged by these sorts of things besides, um, racists? Yeah, I could see a klan member is going to get pissed off every time he's in the mood for pancakes and there isn't any Mrs. Butterworth around, but apparently passive regressives are getting equally riled up over breakfast foods.
So when you see this 7 million dollar stereotype, it's just ataddifficult to take remotely seriously when people/things have been "cancelled" for far less.
Those who control the past control the future, but the only reason the people who control the past can do so these days is because of willful ignorance and downright stupidity.
Butif we're going down the rabbit hole of erasing the past, then either everything's fair game or nothing: No reason to celebrate something that is only relevant in one Southern state, and what, a city at that? But certainly not when it's about something that happened in the past that was bad, because we just shouldn't be talking about or acknowledging any bad things in the past, because that's apparently how it works in the age of mental fragility. You don't want someone having a microaggression induced seizure or something.
