Samurai, you'll want to read this little fact about me too

You know, my real name is Japanese (it's nothing ridiculous like Maklyoko or something really long). My parents went to Japan in 1994, since then they acquired some baby names. Then I came along a few years later, with a Japanese name lol.

I hope to go to Japan soon, I'm sure they'll be excited to hear my name lol, since japanese people are ridiculouly kind by nature. (Especially since my actual ethnic origin is Sri-Lanka/*****, so it would be quite unusual for me to exist)

The problem is she wants to visit big cities for shopping and romantic dinners while I want to visit nature places and enjoy physical activities.

Well, we are still negotiating so there's still hope, yet.

Get a Van. Decide as you go. Check vanlife in fb for inspiration. Even a small car works. I have done 2000kms journey in a VW golf mk4. Cost becomes fuel and food. Dont plan just do it ファゴット.

I’ve always been fascinated with the Alcatraz prison escape and wanted to go to San Francisco to participate in the annual 2 mile swim to shore. Really random goal but it’s something I wanna do, lol. I have too much muscle right now to make it through that strong current and I’m only an average swimmer. But maybe someday.

Hey that's a nice plan, I'm gonna tell my wife a similar plan, who knows she might agree with it.

BTW, I'll hold you to that, my friend. LOL, I bet you would be the first non-Japanese bodybuilding shamisen player!!

My wife is 63. She'd never agree with that plan. Besides, we only have Japanese driver's licenses and it requires a lot of paper works to make them issue an international license. Maybe in the next life.

I've actually talked to people in this line of work, and researched it quite a bit. It takes around 70k to get something like this up and running. Give me a well stocked library, and a dog, and I could hold out for decades. Probably gonna need an attractive HBB too.

Though I'm not ready for this yet. I've got the liquid to at least build a base, but my hunting skills are not up to par yet. I might want to think about getting a basic farm set up too, since I'm not fond of eating only kangaroo meat for the rest of my life (but there's croc, water buffalo and wild boar around too).
This has been my dream for a while and I'm only 26. The only tough part will be getting an hbb to live this kinda life.

Why not compromise and do some of each?

I have always wanted to open a bakery or a food truck, both with Eastern European dishes.

My bakery would be mostly Medovnik, Kolache, Trdelnik, Roulette. We would mostly employ young adults who have aged out of foster care, and it would be a professional mentoring program for both business and pastry, so these adults could gain skills to open their own business. One day!

My food truck would do 5-7 dishes really well. I'll think more about those

Kind of weird but drive the Alcan Highway from my home in the lower 48, through northern Canada and into Alaska.

The far northern part of the continent has some of the most breathtaking natural environments probably on the planet and it would be a great adventure to drive up there rather then fly like most visitors. They say it’s only a small window of June to August that you can safely traverse the desolate roads up there. Only satellite phones work. That would be exhilarating and the payoff totally worth it.
