Doom Patrol was purposely absurd and not meant to be a story even though it was based on some existing serious characters. I have no idea if that comic still exists.

This will surprise you but it is not uncommon for Hollywood to cast actors that are not the same age as the character they play.

The one brother looks like 35 though. It's kind of funny. He looks older than I do (even though he's only 28) and he's playing a high school student.

I don't really care since this is the norm for media, just not usually as drastic. The cast of Yellowstone is all way older than their characters as well. By about 10 years or so.

Thanks for the newsflash....

However, casting is supposed be, you know.....good. I have never met a child in high school with bags under their eyes.

The actors like like they use a LOT of drugs as well.
