It's mainly for first responders to know there's a baby in the car if it ends up wrecked with an unconscious driver unable to inform them.

This has to be the most smooth brained reason Ive heard

For one, how dumb do you think firefighters and police are that they cannot inspect a crash site and identify a baby or not?
Second, if you assume most people who have kids are driving most of the time without the baby--the sticker is then going to confuse the apparent low IQ rescue workers because the sticker says there is a baby they cannot find.
Third, its laughable that in a crash so bad that someone is unconscious and the baby is no where to be visibly seen--that the individuals approaching the car are/can even see a fukcing sticker in the first place. Car will be upsidedown/on fire etc

The reason is people think you should treat them differently or drive differently around them because they did something special and bred
