Another of my Dad's favorites was Olivia Newton John. Since she recently died, I've been listening to her. Great voice.

But I do remember there was a station that played oldies and at the time that meant 50's era rock and roll. Thread has me thinking how long it has been since I heard 50's music played anywhere. You used to here it sometimes at theme parks or diners.

70's kid and stuff from the 60's was still on regular rotation so > 50's = music from before I was born
