I grew up somewhere rural so I know those feels, but I hate the winters up where I'm originally from. It's beautiful June, July, August, and maybe September, but the rest of the year it's a brown depressing frozen hellhole. There weren't any tarantulas, giant centipedes, or snakes in the closet though lol
