The northern Chinese are the tallest Asians. The shortest Asians are in SE Asia, except for the Thais who tend to be fairly tall.

Japan is very diverse in terms of cultural heritage - the Japanese people who westerns class as 'asians' are more like North Koreans, where as the darker and more stocky indigenous aboriginals are more closely related to pacific islanders.

This is also why Japanese people are often times very intelligent - in fact you might notice how Vietnamese, Koreans and Japanese people often times are the best performing in Academics in the west...

Obviously there's been mixing and it's why some Japanese people look the way that they do - add the east asian way of life to a person who is powerfully built and you have a 'killer' combination.

Southern Japanese look very indigenous. Northern Ainu have Russian european genes.

Jomon:african/pacific islander DNA (Andaman origin) This explains why a lot of Japanese have curly hair while Chinese have really straight. also Japanese are darker/more tanned.

Ainu:Honorary white. Japanese can grow facial hair unlike other Asian.

Japanese are higher IQ than Chinese, but China always win those academic competitions

6ft is average male height in my country ( netherlands)

i have some french in me so i'm 5'10

we are the tallest in general.
