Pain. My smell is probably 80% back but taste is cheeks. I can't live like this

I only lost taste for a few days because I was so congested. Not that different from a cold. 3 months later I still get bouts of dizziness, fatigue, and just crappy feeling in general. It's getting better but I still have to take medicine quite often when I feel it coming on. Annoying as hell. My case was otherwise pretty easy.

Oh I just remembered there was a study or something like that can’t remember where some people took antihistamines and it fixed their long Covid issues. Worth a try considering you can get it anywhere for cheap and is safe.

Lost taste and smell for like 6 months after the vax. Could take a clean dish out of the cupboard and it smelled like a wet dog, next dish didn't have any smell. Wife smelled both dishes and no smell whatsoever.

Tonight I was at a Steakhouse and I smelled musty/moldy clothes, no one within 10 feet of me at the bar. Got home and smelled every garment I took off, socks smelled like sweaty feet but everything else smelled like Tide Pods.

Driving me nuts with this chit.
Don't put that on me Ricky Bobby, don't you ever put that on me.

Loss of taste and smell bothered me way more than any of the other symptoms. Fortunately mine recovered after 1-2weeks. I just ate raw garlic and sniffed some eucalyptus or bergamot essential oils from a diffuser everyday. My stomach burned from the raw garlic but better to taste pain than nothing at all.

I literally just got over covid a couple of days ago. I'm not vaxxed. My symtoms lasted just 4 days. Minor fever and cough and sniffles. I lost my taste and everthing taste bland.

I hope this chit doesn't last long.

Was a strange experience for sure. Never lost smell/taste with the omicron persei 8 variant but I did with the OG for a full 7 days.
Not even toothpaste or mouthwash delivered any sensation at all.

Why would you give up after just a month of no taste? It might come back.

You know what else gives young men heart complications? COVID. The unvaxxed have a higher incidence of cardiac complications than those vaccinated.
