this. the pricing isn't that different and getting a used glock 19 off of armslist is usually pretty cheap
don't tell beginners to get a .40 cal, bro. sup with you?
also would like to know how the OP knows a sig is better than a glock when he owns neither, lol
p320 and g19 are largely interchangeable though. i'd glock 19 it though due to the honda civic nature of it

For the money, I would rather buy one of those single-stack 9mm Glocks, like the Glock 48. They seem really fukkin handy.

The main reason it sucks is it can throw off your aim, but my theory is that can be minimized by practice, and you don't even have to shoot. I just aim and dryfire it a bit to get use to it. I'm not gonna pay for that kit cause for one I hear it doesn't even help all that much and for another the gun doesn't have a safety. I don't like that it's so big for ccw but I do like 16 round mags

Just get a Glock 19
You can legit get one for like $450... and the mag compatibility alone is a much bigger selling point, can use relatively cheap 15, 17, and 33rd mags

If you want something inexpensive but isn’t a piece of sht, go with something from the Canik TP9 series. All of them will be significantly better than the SD9VE.
The Canik SF Elite (compact) is ~$350 and blows the doors off the S&W.

Old gun is old.
Those things used to bang around for sub $300 and for good reason.
Many better options at that price point. Like, dozens and dozens.

Went to the range last night and used the Canik TP9 and the Ruger Security 9 they had there and the Canik trigger is butter smooth. Might look into picking one of those up for a backup home defense/range gun.

What everyone else is saying. Feels great in the hand, and shoots every time. But not incredibly accurate and the fuking trigger pull is like 9-10 pounds. Absolutely atrocious. I got it yeas ago and would sell it now, except it's only worth like $150 so not really high on my priority list to do so.

The correct answer is always a Glock 19.
