The short answer, OP, is that modern women at certain stages of their life find well put together men boring. It also makes them feel bad if the man is a better person than them. The last thing low-quality women want to do is self-reflect, so it is easier to just sleep with a string of losers. That way she can feel like the better person, while gaining that sympathy attention from friends and male orbiters.
