Had an ex like this - 40 and chronically single, found out the reasons quickly and bounced. She always said her plan if she was alone and old was to move in with three more childless women and take care of each other. I would imagine a lot of women will end up doing this.

Great thing about being a man is that if you find yourself alone at 55/60, you can still find a 45 year old desperate woman to take care of you later in life quite easily. Within another decade there will be tons of them out there.

I also know a lot of older women that have husbands who are awful and more of a liability health wise, so they are basically caretakers and nurses anyway.

It's sad for sure. They are victims of Piss Earth propaganda. At the same time, we are each responsible for our own lives and choosing what to believe and how to behave. They chose wrong unfortunately, and are paying the price.

It's a rare woman who can be happy and fulfilled in life without children. They exist, but they're rare.

When you judge others, you are actually judging yourself. Be easier on yourself. This isn't an easy place to be and we're all doing what we can with the cards we were dealt in a crazy era.

I think only seeing the loneliness en masse will wake up young people to the vapid, anti-human messages of feminism and corporatism, which have been interlocked with each other for decades. This misc is one of the driving forces bringing America back to its core values. Many of the bros on here have never experienced the nuclear family and want to see it exist again. I would kill my wife before making my kids victim to this degeneracy. But in honesty we sorted all our problems out before kids, except when she went post partum.

I have no desire to be a nurse or caregiver to a man 55/60. I'll take my cats, thank you.

I'm already caring for the finances (I spend 5 hours a day at my Dad's house every weekend) and cats of my Mom and Aunt who are in the hospital after thinking I'd have free time now that my daughter can drive. I don't need or want to care for a man on top of that.

I travel and do things alone but it's easy for me as I'm an only child. I know there are plenty of desperate people who will take whomever just to find someone so they can do that.

Loneliness is a big problem in our society. I see it with people who join my adventure club as they don't have any friends, or their friends are all married with kids now.

Talking about Netflix at work doesn't help them with their loneliness.

Nothing worse than seeing a washed up 55 year old man and woman sitting in the bar alone after a long shift and Rothstein Accounting knowing that they only now have each other. Even if they wanted children the chances of it being a retard are too high to try. So they sit there and sip depressingly on their well gin and tonics, seething in the reminiscence of their glory days, wondering where they went wrong. Their parents have most likely passed on, along with their aunts and uncles, they lost touch with their cousins long ago, siblings and friends most likely have kids graduating high school and college so they are now planning the latter parts of their lives, hopeful for grandchildren and a full thanksgiving table. Having love ones surrounding them, grateful for the lives they have all built together. Secretly laughing at the couple sitting at the bar, who didn't realize the hole they were digging themselves. It's all good Chad and Stacey at least you both had that 5 year stretch in your 20's where you accumulated a triple digit body count, good job, you really made a mark on society.
