I'm in tomorrow Oct 1. I have my last couple IPA's sitting in the fridge for this evening, quit weed for my new job already. This is sober October, not track a bunch of weird chit month. Looking forward to liver gainz. Will push it through my birthday Nov 10 to get a full 6 weeks, supposedly enough time for a full liver rebound.

I imaging the lbs will come off - sitting at 217.5.

Get it boyo's.

I feel a different type of energy for Oct 1.

It's like a buildup of motivation/anger for all the other times I failed being sober/nofap/nogaming/etc.

Like a calm, poised energy.

Oct 1, 2022 is the start of ascension.

I don't drink much and don't do any drugs but I'll join! As of Monday I'll do no sweets/added sugar as those are my weaknesses.

I feel the same way. I actually woke up early, had an OK gym session, it's bright and sunny out.

It's way too early to post this, but I'm anticipating a green row.

You know that feeling when you KNOW something positive, fun, or generally pleasing is happening, and you know you're living in the moment of good times? That's how today feels.

I'm sure you will lose some amount of weight. I am close to having lost 30lbs in a little under six months.

The hardest things today for me are no fap and no tobacco.

Kinda wanna get one of those nicotine pens for two reasons: nicotine head high, suppresses hunger. But gonna withhold from doing that now, seems very addictive.

I hardly drink these days because of some health issues after being a weekend warrior for many years. Honestly not drinking is fairly easy these days since I usually feel crappy except in one place....Vegas. I haven't gone sober and honestly not sure I even want to. This is coming from someone who was in Vegas every few weeks for a while before Covid hit. Hope I recover enough in 3 months so I can drink when I go in December. Vegas sober just sounds depressing. I can get absolutely whacked at the video poker bars watching football and people watching all day.

Yup. A place like Vegas is more fun when you're all fuked up.

Sounds like it's either you go hard or you don't.

Some Tudca should help your liver.

I'm using this sober time to get my priorities straight and to be consistent with other productive habits.

It’s not booze related…I think. Well I don’t have any answers yet so who knows. Multiple docs have said I didn’t drink nearly enough to cause any damage and my blood work has always been good. Hoping it’s just nerve inflammation from the vaccine and Covid shortly after that’ll go away in time but not quite sure. Alcohol does tend to cause my nerve symptoms to worsen so I’ve had to stop. Hopefully down the road I can drink again because I’m itching for Vegas. In the meantime I’ve managed to travel a bunch without getting ****housed every trip and it’s been nice. No hangover combined with jet lag. I can wake up at a reasonable time and enjoy the morning instead of recovering from the previous night. So that’s a big plus from all of this.

Messed up yesterday and fapped.

Other than that, doing good. Woke up today and weighed in down to 167.2 (pre-poop), compared to where I started at 171.0 that's pretty good for a few days of October. Again, water weight for sure, but still nice.

Hope everyone else is accomplishing their goals.

Stopping Kratom was/is way harder than stopping drinking, personally.

That stuff is some sneaky af poison. Before you know it your just sapped for energy all day drinking it like coffee just to stay normal.

Since it’s sold as an innocent plant medicine with no withdrawals or downsides, I’d guess a lot of people are in for a rude awakening.

Anyway, I technically accidentally bent the definition of “October” and by technically I mean literally. I didn’t slip up, I just mixed up my days, forgot to pay the mortgage on time too lmao. But I’m in for the rest of the month.

Yeah kratom was the most difficult to quit for myself too. I knew what I was getting myself into though lol I just didn't care when I started.

Gratz fam. I don't know I could do the no gaming, definitely not on the grind for that cuz of WOTLK Classic and upcoming CoD MW2 haha. Props though.

I'd recommend still avoiding junk food though. Maybe try something tasty but healthy: Greek Yogurt, Sugar Free Jelly, Fruits, low sodium nuts, etc.

Das it mane, you can if you want!

I thought about this too a bit lol. We are cutting during the wrong season. Fall/Winter cuts are lame since you can't show off as much. We're a season or 2 behind (or ahead? Maybe we're going to have the sickest cut ever by Spring/Summer?).

Keep it up folks!

I somehow gained 0.6 lbs lol, lots of fluctuating since the change. I've been having an issue avoiding fapping though. I figure it's ok to give up ONE vice on my list, so long as it's not alcohol. Today I'll keep up the no fap, but I'll get a Chipotle bowl. See below.

Weighed in today at 164.4 lbs. That's 6.6 pounds lighter than Oct 1st. I know why though. It's post-poop I believe, and also I only ate like 900 Cals yesterday, got too busy and distracted to eat so much. Nicotine vape is helping to suppress hunger, but I do feel a little weak today. Still hit the gym. Planning to eat my normal Calories today.
