Any regression in 15 years? How do you know when your eye prescription are stable enough to do it, is it 1 year with no change ?

I had Lasik done 10 years ago. Almost zero regression. Right eyeball vision has gotten slightly worse but I have a lifetime warranty on my eyeballs.

The only thing you said that's remotely true is that if the cornea is to thin then they'll refuse to do the procedure.

The "flap" will heal on its own and doesn't require another surgery. If you have PRK done you'll see a dot in your vision for a while, that's the clear skin healing. At the center it forms a little piece of scar tissue which forms a dot in your vision which goes away in about a year.

I had PRK done which meant they cut a hole in your eyeball to do the surgery and that healed fine.

I've never met anyone who said they regret getting LASIK. I've heard stories about some people whom it didn't work out so well for, but either 1) they had a chit doctor 2) they bought the cheap-ass LASIK you see in magazine ads and spam email or 3) they got the procedure back in the 90s when it was still relatively new.

I had it back in 2015 and my vision is still great; I get regular eye exams. My mom had it back in 2007 or so and she hasn't had any problems, either. I will say I also had a pretty strong prescription, which leads to them needing to cut deeper into the cornea to do the correction. One thing you need to understand isLASIK has been around for a long time and it has only made improvements since its inception. Many LASIK centers and surgeons are pretty strict about who they give the green light to as they don't want a bad reputation or lawsuits, so they will take every precaution to make sure you're a good candidate and your chances of complications are low.

I went to TLC Laser Centers and I paid like $5000 for the whole shebang. Totally worth it, without a doubt.

When you go in for the procedure they give you some meds to relax you and some ***** to put you to sleep so you'll sleep off the first dozen hours when your eyes need to heal. I woke up like 14 hours later and my vision was good. The right eye was a little fuzzy but it cleared up in a few extra days. The procedure only took like ~20 minutes total, srs.
