Can’t see anything changing with the roster they have.
Their defense is elite, and their 3pt shooting is starting to revert to the mean a lil. They won against a good Pels team with a LeBron who was basically bedridden the past 2-3 days and looked gassed after 3 min.

Lakers need DS in the lineup cause Nunn is out of the rotation and Bev gives you nothing on the offensive end.. but I like what I see from them

Lonnie Walker looks better all around than Monk, Reaves has improved, AD looks like a DPOTY candidate, and Russ looks like a totally different player off the bench.

They need a big, and another 3pt shooter or so. Idk if they could maybe trade Nunn for one if he's gonna be out the rotation

He's dealing with a minor foot issue, but he apparently was basically bedridden the past 3-4 days due to an illness that he's had for awhile. He always starts off slow on his jumper for basically the past 8 seasons so this isn't new. Literally every beginning of the year for the past 8 years (srs) is the same narrative the first month of the season "Lebron is putting up great stats, but his jumper ain't falling.... is this the end???"

I remember the 2018 season being a one of the louder versions of that narrative cause the team wasn't doing well... and we all saw how that ended

Bron needs to sit out or come off the bench till healthy.

The lakers are playing their heart out and bron just looks uninspired. Just jacking up bad 3s, bad turnovers, and most importantly.. he's been their weakest link on defense.

Bron needs to step back and let AD be the main guy. Bron should be more of a 25-30 mins / 15-20 ppg type player. Russ/AD are coming back alive, Thomas Bryant has been a huge addition. Lonnie/Reaves look good af. This team doesn't look so bad. If Lebron is willing to sacrifice for the betterment of the team, they have a chance to be contenders.

JFC, how many fkn games are the lakers going to lose the exact same way...

Build a big lead
Lebron runs down clock dribble between the legs iso, jacks up a brick..... 3 POSSESSIONS IN A ROW
After Lebron bricks his shots, Westbrick comes down bricks a layup.... then a couple shots of his own
Opposing team goes on a run, Lakers panic start running some decent offense
AD or Bron gets fouled, bricks huge FTs

LeKareem Chaser is gonna reach the all time points record, under .500 and in the lottery. LMAO

Quite frankly, i don't think he cares. It's all about smoke and mirrors with Lebron and meaningless longevity stats at this point. That's all he's playing for.

It's like Brady reaching 100K career yards. It's a nice achievement to have on your resume, though that's not the reason why Brady's considered the GOAT.

LeBron is still great but has slowed down. AD gagged last night Westbrook sucks. Seriously, he sucks, stats are for losers.

Celtics did everything they could to lose that game. Can't let 20 point leads slip like that. When Al and TimeLord are back, they'll bea real tought out, only Bucks can beat them in East. Need to figure out how to beat Golden State.

Got KILLED in transition Saturday. For some reason. Warriors know how to defend Celtics.

Lebron needs to shave some of his MPG. The excuses of "year 20" "age 38" need to stop. Year 20 Lebron, "his legs are tired", Ok just gonna jack up some off balance 3s... If he's that tired, keep minutes to around 30 MPG. Lakers are capable of running offense without him.

Surprise, surprise... Lakers finally close a game when Lebron and Westbrook make plays for teammates instead of jacking up jumpers

AD out for weeks...... R.I.P.

Luckily, Thomas Bryant has been great. We shall see if Lakers can hold it together

Uhh no they aren't. They have no defensive bigs besides AD and Bron, and even calling Bron a defensive big is straight comedy on how this roster was assembled.. he holds his own against fukn Jokic/Embiid when he's a 38 yr old SMALL FORWARD. Dude is literally a swiss army knife even this late into his career.

But mostly the Lakers don't have another playmaker besides Russ, who you need to limit. DS is a shoot first guy who is pretty trash at that right now and can't open stuff for others. Pat Bev is literally the worst offensive player in the NBA and that's not an exaggeration.

I think if the Lakers can stay close to .500 ball while AD is out (a huge ask) they can still make the playoffs.

Give AD, Russ, Reaves, Walker 1 more touch per game. This alone will free up a couple mins for Lebron.

Then had a stretch of games where games were poorly closed.

Tours over with AD hurt tho.

If AD comes back sometime in the middle of this month, Lakers can make a run into the top 6-7 seeds.

LeBron is playing out of his mind, averaging something crazy like 34/8/7 on 58% shooting while AD has been out. Even got a solid win while LeBron was out.

They need a trade tho, badly.

When you got LBJ and AD in a team, there is always a chance. AD can't stay consistently healthy, Russ is volatile and the rest of the team is ass though...

The real positive for the Lakers is that there are no elite teams in the West. AD was playing like an MVP before he got hurt, LeBron is playing like an MVP right now.. Russ has been actually really good the past 10 games. If they can find a way to bring in another wing or a defensive big I honestly believe they fight for a 5-6 seed and can make a run to the WCF.

They've played everyone SOO close. Celtics, Bucks, Sixers, Memphis, Kings, Mavs. They are a dangerous team right now even without 3 of their 4 best player on the floor.

AD fixes ALOT of their defensive/rebounding issues. They need a shooter in a bad way, just a single wing shooter and I feel they can compete for a spot in the west (they get blown the fuk out by the East in the finals)

Unfortunately I don't believe that Rob Pelinka or Jeanie Buss are intelligent enough to make the right trades

What a freaking STEAL for the Lakers. Hachimura is a REALLY good player who was underutilized in WAS. Laker fans will be surprised how good he is. They are now a pretty stacked team. Great job by the FO maximizing lebron's window (unlike the Warriors FO who would rather develop bum lotto picks).

I like the role players tbh. They aren’t supremely skilled/talented but the young guys respect Russ and are willing to let him lead. It’s an upgrade from last season when we had a bunch of washed old heads who think they are still that guy.
