So, that makes it not true somehow? IMO, Gen X trends were better than Boomer trends were better than Millennial trends were better than Zoomer trends. It's not like human society de facto improves. Rome in the time of Caesar was better than Rome in the time of Nero. It doesn't matter if Caesar came first or not. European culture during the Renaissance was superior to how it was after, Native American culture was better before the white man arrived, etc. Progress in time =/= progress in culture, and sometimes the later generations are rightly scoffing at the youngins.
