On the topic of nice warm sunny days and alcohol, I had one of these today. This is an Oktoberfest (Marzen) I brewed late summer. It's the quintessential autumn lager. Came out really nice and malty. I also have a German bock lager that's almost ready to exit the lagering stage and enter bottles for consumption at family xmas. That'll be exciting.



This is one deceptively smooth and dangerous potion.

There is never a bad time for a nice crisp Pilsner. If you're in Cali you might know of Firestone Walker. They brew a Pilsner called Pivo Pils. I remember drinking that stuff while roaming around the New Hampshire mountains at sunset during the summer.
