I once was getting pizza, and there was some homeless dude outside the local pizza joint which was in a shopping complex asking for money.

I told him I didn't have any money on me, but he could have 2 slices of my pizza, and he replied "Fuk your pizza mane!" There was a liquor store in that shopping complex too, and I could tell he really wanted some booze.

Their system brought over 1 billion people out of poverty. And they do not have a huge homeless or drug problem. They have lower crime than we do too. Their main issue is freedom and brain drain. It doesn't mean we can't learn from their approach. Ditto for Sweden and Norway. Mixed economy with more welfare services and state control than we currently have will be better for everyone. Our system is a joke where the security state has a hilarious amount of control and bloat but we don't even give people the welfare services they need. There are 2 homeless camped up next to our tennis courts on private property. This just started a couple of weeks ago. I don't know how the club can't call the police to get them off. I can understand if they're on the public sidewalk but they're not--they went into the parking lot along the side of the fence.

Tents are popping up everywhere around the roads. I've never seen homeless in my community before.
