Your so cringe.

"Elon lied about his degrees!"

In the real world nobody gives a fuk about degrees if you can build an empire and become the richest person on earth.

This is why so many college professors are liberal. They can't actually do anything in the real world so they stick to Academia
Survival. When the jungle tears itself down and builds itself into something new. Guys like you and me, we end up dead. Doesn’t really mean anything. Or, if we happen to live through it, well that doesn’t mean anything either.

I'm sure Mr. Musk directly appreciates your obedient brown nosing. Keep lapping his ass - maybe you can be the employee of the month! Wouldn't a pat on the head from the hand of God be nice? Or you could let go of his nuts at some point and hug your wife and kids instead. oR even your own damn nuts - at least that would show some self respect.

sorry you cringe away from the truth. Not my problem, buddy. There's no valor in stealing business ideas from others. He's a parasite. Quit shaming yourself by hero worshipping this fool.

e.g. being able to economically build tunnels in a fraction of the time, enabling people to fly to space by developing re-usable rockets, building humanoid robots cleaning your dirty basement, enabling us to settle on other planets and explore the galaxy.

To me those are advancements for humanity in their respective field.
"better place" is philosophical and subjective. And yes, he makes money in the process, nothing wrong with it.

Twitter has been ~2-3% of the tech layoffs in the last few months, knives are coming out everywhere.

Which tunnels has his technology economically built? Which of his reusable rockets have enabled us to settle on other planets and explore the galaxy?

As I said, all he's done are science projects so far. Come talk to me when he builds a tunnel or sends a crew to the ISIS. Jeff Bezo's penis spaceship is already accepting private flights, this isn't novel technology anymore-- maybe a decade ago when it debuted.

He's literally been riding the SpaceX wave since 2015 and launching meme project after meme project and low IQ plebs are still praising him like he's phucking Tesla lmfao.

He has a business mind.

It does interest me to know he's just throwing around buzzwords instead of trying to discuss his credentials in good faith because these are competitive fields. Actually the smartest in the world study Physics Ph.D.s at Stanford and similar schools

It sounds like he probably applied for a Master's in a lesser engineering discipline, which would accept almost anyone

Agree. So probably need to take it to under 5,000 employees. Which is still a good amount of employees. And I am sure the bloat is across all departments.

IMO he has been pretty open about the desire to transform the platform.

News/mainstream media has become highly concentrated with very little actual competition. The wealthy and powerful interests who OWN most media are the same interests that the public depends on the media to reign in via research, translation, and dissemination of important information.

Per his own words he wants Twitter to act as the anti-thesis to this media monopoly and has the goal of the platform acting as the place for citizen journalism backed up with verifiable factual information. If a large amount of the population adopts Twitter as the place to find real news vs. news that serves the powerful that should definitely drive usage. And, as posted ITT, usage is way up already.

He also intends to add more functions to Twitter to make it the "everything app" equivalent to wechat in China IIRC which includes a payment system, something that he has some familiarity with.

Think about the games that are being played with peoples' money by the powerful. Imagine an alternative place to store your money and to conduct transactions. One that isn't under the direct control of state power or the international bankers.

Will he be able to make that vision real? IDK.

But if you can see it then you can see it. And if you can't, oh well.

Imagine being so salty that you aren't impressed by a guy who sent astronauts to the international space station on a fukin recycled rocket. Or someone that is revolutionizing the internet and the world with Starlink.

Honest question, who in the business world today does impress you?

Salty? People worship that ****g0t like he is a god. I think that merits some scepticism. If you think that's "salty" okay. He's an oligarch.

I'm impressed with businesses that make money and deliver value to consumers, I don't really care what industry. Elon Musk enriches himself while delivering zero value to consumers, that's impressive in its own right sure, but it's not "innovation".

There are other companies doing what Starlink is doing boyo:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Surrey...ite_Technology

What destroyed the 2020 elections was the deranged conspiracy theories, peddled by right wing agitators.

I'm happy to say that he's an innovative oligarch or that he's made some wise investments, but he hasn't invented or engineered any of the "revolutionary" technology that you're giving him credit for. He's not Henry Ford, he's Warren Buffet.
What a dumb take. He knows the technology very well and can hold a conversation with engineers working on rockets.

You don’t get to run those companies and be that heavily invested in it being a Warren Buffett. Comparing an investor to a guy who is the CEO of multiple tech companies.

Nobody is claiming he’s the inventor of these things.

Easy to say anyone can do it, just lol, tell people to do it lol. Spoken like someone who’s never managed a project before.

I’m not a developer but I’ve developed hundreds of websites through my team of developers, and I manage that project.

I don’t claim to be the devs who built them but just lol if you think anyone can come in and manage a dev project consisting of a bunch of devs, designers, copywriters etc to the timeline whilst maintaining the quality required. And this is web dev, yet alone fukin electric cars or rockets.

Credit where credit is due. Musk is leading humanity. And he’s based as fk.

Jfl if you think Twitter requires 10k employees to run.

I’m actually involved in a project right now where we are essentially replicating Twitter, much like Onlyfans did, but a different business model.

The technology itself is not insane unlike Google or even FB. What makes Twitter such a big job is the volume of traffic and the moderation required (which they’ve done an utterly terrible job of with 10k employees, probably would do better with less fact checkers).
