I've been lifting for over 38 yrs, competed in female bb for over a decade and coach. If I'm not mistaken you said you started it in 2013 after running powerlifting and bodybuilding routines correct? So it sounds like you had solid lifting experience under your belt before you started the program.
I'm not here to argue. I stated my opinion and I stand by it.

For the first 3-4 weeks, most of the adaptation is neural, e.g. greater motor unit recruitment. Your body becomes more efficient at lifting with the muscle it already has before it moves on to adding more. (for those who want to argue, any increase in size is due to storing more localised glycogen)
With all due respect, due to how saggy you are (you look like you lost a lot of weight, so well done if true), even as you start to gain muscle, you won'tsee it for a while. You effectively have a visual buffer and will only start to see it when some of the slack gets taken out of the sag.

Screw nature; my body will do what I DAMN WELL tell it to do!
The only dangerous thing about an exercise is the person doing it.
They had the technology to rebuild me. They made me better, stronger, faster......
