I think the bigger corollary is women's rights srs. "Eliminating poverty" is usually the result of several factors and not the meaningful metric in and of itself.

When given any rights, time after time, in society after society, women's rights immediately results in a softening of society where the weak are protected to an absurd degree and birth rates rapidly decline as women pretend to be men by entering the workforce or pursue their dreams of becoming whores.

Nigeria will probably do very well over the coming decades. They're not some poverty country like most think. They have the #1 GDP rank out of 50+ African countries.

I think education is cheap and readily available over there, hence why so many of them try and scam the west lel.

I can remember AIDS medical officials and activists saying the disease was going to greatly decrease the population of Africa. They missed that prediction but a long shot.

It's always been Africa that's responsible for the massive world population hikes.
