Also thanks for confirming that you are over 65.
1. Not even close to age 65,I just read new data on the topic before posting, wrong again #1!
2. "Safe and effective" are not words i commonly use ; it has been 2-3 years and to *me personally* it was... worth the risk. so wrong again #2

Introduces an antigen that resembles what your immune system would encounter if you got the actual infection. It basically helps prime it. Your body makes antibodies that bind that antigen and through a feedback loop system, a good bind helps stimulate the cells that produce those antibodies to replicate with some slight variations. After several iterations of this, your body eventually produces very tight binding antibodies to tag and destroy the antigen. It keeps these cells around as "memory" and if you encounter the infection, the circulating antibodies will again bind, and srimulate the production of those specialized tightly binding antibodies you used earlier.

So the idea is you would recover much faster or not even end up feeling very sick at all.

It's quite amusing that so many miscers smoke and drink but are butthurt over an alleged tiny increase in risk of myocarditis relative to baseline, which pales in comparison to the increase in risk of myocarditis from getting the actual virus. This entire thing has become a political sham and an article of faith for you people. Even when multiple studies have been done to quantify these risks and demonstrate the vaccines are safe, people will still piss and moan. Nobody will ever convince you, and it isn't worth the effort to even try.

In the event that you get covid, it MIGHT make it a little bit less severe. There's no way to know how severe it would have been had you not gotten the vaccine, but trust me bro, it would have been at least the next level of severity up the ladder if you didn't get it.*

*If you got the vax and you died from covid, you would have died a more painful and excruciating death had you not been vaccinated.
Everything depends upon execution; having just a vision is no solution.

Performance and performance alone dictates the predator in any food chain.
