Don’t worry boyos. I’ll carry the boats so y’all don’t have to.
Just remember my hands look like these, so yours don’t have to.

Nobody wants to hear Anthony Kiedis talk about Jujitsu and "comedy"...or hear Joe explain something about either of those 2 for the 100th time to a guest who probably doesn't give a chit.

Very uninteresting person.
Edit: I feel similar about Jocko. I thought the book extreme ownership was silly. I work in corporate so I guess im not surprised companies pay them as “consultants”. They dropped gems like “your teams are too large think SMALL UNIT TACTICS LIKE IK THE SEALS” an it’s like ok, any company that doesn’t understand that is ****ty for other reasons.
But the main thing was when Jocko said he only gets 5 hours of sleep a night. But always works out in the morning. Worst thing you can do for yourself is to deny your body sleep.

Jocko's 5 hours sleep schedule is complete attention whoring bull**** or he is one of the few people who are genetically predisposed to sleep less and it won't work for the majority of people. Hard concentrated physical or metal work requires good sleep, may even required up to 10 hours of sleep and some pro athletes go up 12h. Wonder how much people reading his books tried to rape their bodies with his absurd sleep schedule and ended up with elevated blood pressure and blood glucose. Sleep deprivation leads to diabetes, ofc you need to to do it for years.

What’s wrong with goggins?
Guy came from a broken home and made it through hard work
If he inspires even just a few kids who come from similar backgrounds that’s a W

Hmm. A bunch of people 1% as successful as someone denigrating the successful person. Interesting.

I’ve read his book and listened to him for at least a total of 10 hours on many podcasts. Although he has done crazy things and it’s impressive what the human body can achieve, he is actually in a way no different than a drug addict.
Not sure if people will understand what I mean. He has an addiction that he has to fulfill. That’s all there is to it. But he’s able to use that to help motivate people so it works out.

How about some physique pics?
Care to roll with jocko?
Interested with all of your takes in what ways you outperform them? Physique, performance, combat arts? Since you're analyzing their lifestyles and all. Also wondering how many tens of millions you're worth, too.

And Goggins is pro-ana for men. There are plenty of women who endure extreme torture to reduce their weight to deathly levels, and they inspire other women to lose weight all the time. Are they like Goggins? Anorexia is more painful than his running. Matter-of-fact, I've known anorexics who achieved feats in endurance like Goggins on far lower levels of body fat. Are they inspirations because they hated themselves enough to withstand extreme body torture? He acts like it's easy to be happy (since fuking when?!) & "hard" to "embrace the suck", when it seems like a repressed and angry kunt with the intellectual and emotional capacity of a 13 year-old boy. If he were to actually do something "hard" for him, he'd go to college or write something without a fuking ghostwriter that brought more emotional nuance to the picture than "I was soft then I got hard. Say hard & lift some boats, motherfuker!!".
The dude just built a career on outrunning his own self-hatred and gay thoughts.
Rogancels & Goggincels are the same try-hard ****gits that act like they're going into fuking battle on bench day. If only I was fuking stupid enough to think lifting weights and running was actually the hardest part of life.

Drug addicts
- die from organ failure at early ages
- crush their cardiovascular system, their liver
- get hepatitis
- ruin their lives and the lives of others to get what they want
- have criminal records
- are homeless

Is there anything more boring than people who run long distance and use mental illness to fuel it?
Running 100 miles to me is no different than flicking the light switch off 50 times before going to bed. Pointless action fueled by mental illness. Not impressive.

There’s many forms of drug addicts. There’s people literally addicted to adrenaline and they HAVE to do extreme sports and squirrel suit glide getting close to death each time to feel alive. They are drug addicts.
There are people that have to rock climb mountains with no harness to get their fix of adrenaline and feeling alive. They are drug addicts.
There are people addicted to sex and the mental aspect and need it to feel alive. They are drug addicts.
There are people that buy 1000cc motorcycles and have to have near death experiences, cut it close between cars, going top speed, and have to do it everyday to get their fix. They are drug addicts.
David Goggins is a drug addict. Have you even read or listened to him extensively. He’s almost died countless times, severely damaged his organs, body parts, but he has to get his fix.

I myself have been addicted to alcohol, drugs, extreme dieting (anorexia), and exercise. I've almost completely ruined my life from exercise addiction an underrating for my extreme workouts that were driven by nothing but extreme self-hatred & a Goggins-esque "stay hard" mentality. It's caused me just as much suffering and social isolation as anything else could, and the same goes for my uncle.

It's very apparent who's not carrying the boats in the misc.

people who rack up lots of miles running die early and have heart problems later in life and their bodies break down, too much is as bad as too little .
this self torturing idiot is literally breaking down his own body...

The funniest thing about Goggins book is how much you can read between the lines.
Like each chapter is all about being so driven and determined that nothing in the world is going to stop you from transforming your life through the new dumb challenge. But mentioned as asides is that he has a different wife or girlfriend each time, that he gains and loses kids, that he never gets promoted within the military, etc etc.
His physical stuff is the real deal, but other than selling books about how to succeed in life, he was never actually succeeding in life.

It's not too different from comedians like Bert Kreischer who made their whole schtick alcohol. Is he not an addict because he was successful from partying like that?
