I knew a girl in Colorado who moved to a commune in Washington.

It was run by this old couple and at the end of the night, all the young people would get in bed with the old couple and f@ck them.

The idea was extremely disgusting to me.

Communes sound good but they likely attract perverts who would start pressuring people.

They are selling Tofu to Whole Foods which is a pretentious rich people supermarket, so the commune is in big business.

I don't know why people in a commune have to pretend to be farmers. Why can't there be an auto mechanic or insurance sales commune?

That's what I mean - so far my understanding is that spiritual and 'religious' locations such as monasteries and the like are the closest thing(s) to communes, where the people there are generally celibates who want nothing from the world anyway.

Anybody who at all has a sexual urge simply cannot coexist with another peacefully, since by the very nature of sexuality you wish to merge with an object of affection, which in and of itself requires for you to somehow convince that object (person) to do so, for your own pleasure, without you exerting forcefully onto them! i.e., what you all refer to as social status, including looks and money

This is where the scandal of modern dating comes into play, where you might have noticed that some men (or women) have an awfully easy time 'getting some', whilst others are struggling to say the least.

You simply cannot have a 'fair and square' society where the goal is for one person to use another for sex - unless of course we come to a consensus to only do it for procreative purposes, but by this date, we will all be in charge of our destinies anyway.

I agree with all of that.

I also could not be forced or pressured into have sex with people I don't care to have sex with, just to be equal.

I would be cool with working on projects to benefit the community, because I kind of do that already, but I'm not snuggling with a dude or old lady, or even a hot girl I don't like, for the collective.

That problem needs to be ironed out or this stuff.

I'd probably enjoy living in a "healthcare" collective and earning money for the group that way. But, I'm not spending private time with the group that much.

Reason:

Our economic system is not natural. So, joining together to make it easier is smart.

Our human nature is natural and having orgies and no privacy is against human nature.

Thinking you can apply the same philosophy to work as you do intimate human activities is incorrect and a recipe for disaster.
