At some point if you really want to get over your ex you are going to have to confront that he isnt the monster you are painting him out to be and things were more complicated than that and you know it. You need to really dive deep into those complicated matters and confront them and acknowledge why he truly acted the way he did. I am sure he acted wrong but these exaggerations and dramatics arent helping you they are hindering you far more than anything.

I think that I was able to challenge her in every way, shape and form, while letting her 'feel safe'. It's a strange question to ask though, no? Don't think I have ever asked someone "why did you fall in love with me?" heh.

sure but a personality disorder doesn't mean you get to write someone off, completely dehumanize them, and make them out to be a monster with no conscience. You are letting your subjectivity in the matter overrule your logic and ability to see the reality of the situation.
