Hey OP just curious but how did you get this offered for free on Kindle? I've seen a bunch of books on rotation for free with Kindle for awhile now. Does the publisher make a deal with Amazon?

I'm on IMDB under Deenur if you want to see a web film project I worked on.

Busy but I love it.
What's the process like getting a screenplay turned into a movie?

Do you seek out producers or agents?

Do you send any of your screenplays to festivals?

Do you just wait and pray for someone to pick it up?

Also, how dare you say 2001 is a terrible film. That movie is fantastic

Ah you saw the website, thx.
Very few festivals take screenplays, most want finished works.

I subscribe to a number of services that have "calls for scripts" listed. You have to have scripts ready, they won't wait for you.

The process is all over the board. I have sent a screenplay to a director who liked it, but it wasn't what he wanted at the time. That's usually the "no thank you" comment from script listings that it's not quite right for what they needed. I have also connected with an actor who I wrote a script for and he liked it. If I can find a producer, he is in.

"Purchased" it. I'll be honest, I likely won't read it or much of it. But, hopefully that helps in some way. If I do read it, I will be sure to leave a review!
