jingle all the way is a terrible movie but its a great example of how different movies used to be compared to modern standards. its so kitschy and overproduced that it almost feels like a stage play on film. very manufactured and Arnold is so terrible, i just don't remember him being that bad.

Highlight of the whole film is Arnolds coat. Timeless style

It's definitely absurb but to me that's part of the appeal. 80's, 90's, and early 2000's comedies were absurdist to the core. To me it's a fun look back, not that I think it's objectively a "good" movie. Just a fun romp tbh.
