I remember he got up and told them they had two choices, to either put him back in power and they can work on things or deal with what was coming and he pretty much explained what actually ended up happening.
I'm not sure if the whole war was worth it. I'm pretty sure it wasn't, but it would be interesting to see a parallel world where we didn't. Most of the misc and many in the world were too young to remember and the rest have mainly forgot the issues that Saddam was causing.
I'll sat this though, the reason we have not gone to war with Iran is because of how Iraq went. The US would have no problem destroying the Iranian military and government, but what comes after will just be nuts. That's why we are doing what we are doing now, containing them.

And the US having no problem destroying Iran is a lie. This was not reported on the news, but Iran completely destroyed a US base two days after the killing of General Soleimani. The US cannot fight a war across the seas. The logistics of it all is insane.
If the Iranians wanted it, they couldve destroyed all of the US's military naval fleet in the East.

Have to admit, the country was paradise when he was in power compared to now.
I knew an Iraqi who grew up there then and education was free, life was good, and so long as you weren't vocal about the government it was business as usual with no issues
