ive been excessively hearing about Couer dAlene recently out of nowhere. never heard of it before 2022 and now i cant stop hearing about it.

from the pictures it looks dull. what am i missing

Still full. It's not the same place it was even five years ago.

Land prices to income ratios are at coastal California levels, and it's been overran by left coast transplants. You can't buy a Randy Weaver type cabin in the woods any more... that land is now a subdivision of $1M homes for Seattle and SF retirees. You now have traffic jams on 1-lane mountain roads.

Meh pretty dramatic imo. A lot of people scattered up to sand point. Land is still cheap as dirt 30 minutes outside the city in all directions. Fuk you could get a 100k house with a yard still if you want to hang around Worley or some chit.

I’m mostly pissed they built some vip neighborhood on tubs hill. Stupid fgts that’s where I run and jump in the lake and chit if I’m staying over there. It’s a fukking public park..

Coeur d’Alene was cool 20 years ago. Now it fukking blows. You used to be able to get a brand new starter home for under 200k. Now you’re looking at 400+ for a poorly built, slapped together tract home. Covid hysteria kicked the transplant rate into hyper drive.
