Honestly? Yeah, very much so. Achieved more than I ever thought possible as a bitter, nihilistic teenager and exceeded all expectations, mine and others'.
We're all gonna make it.
We're all gonna make it.

Looking back at the question and I think there would be some things I'd be proud of. I stuck to my values as not being a drinker, smoker, or drug addict which runs in the family. Back then they brainwashed us that if you don't get good grades you won't be able to get into college and you won't ever become anything and will be poor your whole life and although I never got good grades or got into a good college I'm far from poor and I have accomplished a lot. Not the path I had in mind exactly, but isn't that us all?

Need to define success too, success with money? Career? Family? Women?
Also, depends who you’re surrounded with. If your parents /household is a mess, much less likely that you’ll succeed at all aspects.

Very.
I was never in to working or getting ahead and status and all that even when I was 15.
Just wanted to be left alone to do what I want to do.
Now I do exactly that. Dont have to go to work every day and can goof off as much as I like and still be happy.

"To be a warrior is not a simple matter of wishing to be one. It is rather an endless struggle that will go on to the very last moment of our lives. Nobody is born a warrior, in exactly the same way that nobody is born an average man. We make ourselves into one or the other."-- Carlos Castaneda

I think it would be a bittersweet perception. Not where I expected to be but proud of the work I'm putting in to make it better.

Probably external achievements but not decisions I've made as an adult and mental suffering.

In terms of who I am as a person (morally and keeping my values) then yes.
Otherwise no. I went from deciding whether or not I move to Croatia to play for an academy for a top flight team for soccer. Stayed home because of language barrier and not wanting to leave home. I expected to play professionally in America not realizing how laughable and absurd the process is to even get noticed (money, reputation, name).
I'd be devastated knowing all that time and effort ended in basically mass disappointment because of the system breaking me. I was a dick at 15 so I'd probably call my older self a *******.

My 15 year old self expected to die in his 20s. If he had known who his 48 year old self would be, he would either act as bad as he possibly could to send out the message that he intended to avoid the fate of his 48 year old self, or he would rope.

I get that this is the misc, an extremely racist subforum in a dying gay Indian bodybuilding forum, and that by virtue of being members here we're all losers, but some of y'all need to do better. We're all gonna make it, but we gotta put in the effort. It's never too late.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.
