Honestly that's a nice wagon that's rare, will run 400k miles. Could possible be a sleeper wagon too. I'd buy for $25k

not that absurd, these flagship Toyota machines are extremely well built mechanically and with fit and finish that asks nothing from luxury car manufacturers. you can bet the total cost of ownership is very low in the long run.

seeing as how suburban's are hideous beasts, and replaced their solid rear axle with some goofy low hung fragile looking rear independent suspension, and the expedition is also hideous. The sequoia wins by default compared to the other options

Except they both outsell it by a huge margin. Sequoia is one of the lowest selling in the segment.

Seating for 7 instead of 5, while still wanting / needing to tow 9K’ish pounds. Knowing you will want and utilize secured / climate controlled / covered interior storage (and additional seating capacity) more than you will use an open 5.5’ bed.

I would argue that the vast majority of truck owners would be fine 99.9% of the time with a full size SUV vs. a truck, and use the additional features provided by the SUV more than the 5.5’ bed. Interior cargo is generally massive in full size SUV’s, and small utility trailers are dirt cheap.
